Pilgrimage to Egypt

Come and experience closeness with the Holy Family, as you travel where they did. After the birth of Jesus, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph instructing him to take Mary and the baby to Egypt as King Herod wanted to kill him. On this pilgrimage you will follow the route the Holy Family took into Egypt. You will visit many of the key sites where the Holy Family stayed, rested and sheltered including Mostorod, Matariya, St Anthony's Monastery, Wadi El Natrun and Alexandria. You will learn more about the early Christian Church and St Mark's teachings in the first Century AD.
